Designed, tested and developed in Europe, to best fulfil the needs of European sailors. Manufactured in a unique single mould sandwich construction, to ensure extreme uniformity between each board, in the only factory able to do this - Their own!

Whiskey Jack Paddles Every Whiskeyjack Paddle is individually handcrafted. Like a snowflake, no two are exactly the same. Each one is unique and special in its own way -and each has the classic style and innovative design that defines Whiskeyjack Paddles.

All Whiskeyjack canoe, kayak and stand up paddles are individually handcrafted from the finest select-grain, red and white cedar available. These beautiful and unique paddles combine old world craftsmanship with modern laminated design.

The ergonomically designed grips are incredibly comfortable and greatly reduce hand fatigue. We painstakingly mold each grip so that they fit perfectly into the palm of your hand.

Our fiberglass-reinforced blades are designed to glide through the water without flutter or vibration. Our blades are strong but have just enough flexibility to reduce strain on the joints.

The shafts are constructed of five strips of laminated cedar and are spoke shaved by hand into a smooth, oval shape -perpendicular to the blade. Our wooden shafts provide wonderful flex, which acts as a natural shock absorber during long days of hard paddling.

These beautiful canoe, kayak and stand up paddles are built with pride and are among the nicest paddles you will ever hold.

Some are big and tourquey, some a small and revy, while others cruise all day at a nice sedate pace - The power you have can only be used via the transmission driving the wheels and tyres gripping the road, and the often overlooked, but equally vital, steering and breaks come in pretty handy as well if you are to have fun using it safely!

With SUP, think of your self as the engine, the Shaft of the Paddle is the transmission, while the Blade is the tyre. Steering and breaking is fairly self-explanatory!

Picking the wrong transmission and tires for the engine, could be like trying to do a hill start in top gear, or driving up the motorway in 1st gear - neither is going to be much fun!

That's why at X-Paddle, we have been developing a comprehensive, but well defined combination of Blades and Shafts, to suit just about every requirement for performance and price. Our factory can do amazing things with exotic materials, so of course, we do include some 'Oh My God' products in the range as well!

We have been teaching people to SUP since 2006, so have a lot of experience of how important the Paddle really is, and how often this matching is overlooked!

We continually test and develop new designs and materials before they go into production, so we know just how they perform and that we have met the design criteria.

We offer comprehensive advice on application, selection, fitting, etc. and can even (for a small extra charge) supply a paddle made to fit you, fit Blade Guard for you, or supply your lovely new paddle with a Blade Cover or Complete Bag to protect it while in transit?

Deeply rooted in several years of Stand Up, this innovative young brand is already finding it's true colours, with 2 riders getting through 5 heats to attain 1st and 4th place (and the overall UK Wave title) at the BSUPA Watergate Bay, series finals, held on 16th/17th October 2010, with both Neal and Matt using their new NS8'8" Surf Series Boards to great effect.

Such outstanding competition success should remind everyone, that producing great boards is about understanding what makes something both fun and forgiving to use, with designs being able to offer beginners and top riders alike, thinner, less voluminous shapes, which are also more stable and responsive, offering true 'surfing sensations' from day one.

Nah-Skwell manufacture their boards from 'OSS' (One-Shot-Sandwich), to ensure extreme uniformity between every board, meaning they are also some of the lightest and stiffest SUP's available anywhere in the world!

Each board is honed to perfection before launch, with the aim of only changing when there really is a better board from the R & D team, so you can be confident that your board and graphics will not change every year just at the whim of a marketing department!
