We obtained a quote from Mike which on the whole was very reasonable so no complaints there. A few weeks later they started laying a new patio for us to the style that we requested but then once complete this was when the problems started, one of the slabs that was used for a step had a chunk out the side which got replaced no problem and the finishing around the outside edge was messy which also got rectified (to an extent). Later down the line we noticed that around most of the edging the grouting hadn't filled the gaps so you can see wide open gaps which quite frankly shouldn't be there if the base had been built up properly which is in turn causing the grouting to continually disappear down the gaps. Secondly we have multiple slabs that are loose which is completely unacceptable after a few months. We then contacted Alexander fencing to request that the issues are sorted - we have contacted them several times with no responses to sort out the issues they created! Avoid this company
